You can now travel to Iceland if you got vaccinated

If you’ve got the urge to travel and you’ve been vaccinated, Iceland is welcoming travelers.

The move is part of the government’s drive to boost the tourism sector. Travellers who got the full shot of vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency do not need to undergo testing or quarantine.

Earlier the exemption only applied to travelers from EU countries, it is now extended to include everyone around the globe!

“From 18 March, this exemption will apply to citizens outside the Schengen area, including the UK and USA,” a statement from the Icelandic government said.

Time to check out those Northern Lights finally!
