UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the President of the Republic of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, met on Wednesday to discuss strengthening cooperation in economy, trade, renewable energy, sustainability, investment, tourism, and agriculture. 

The UAE security services have foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons and military equipment to the Sudanese Armed Forces through an airport in the country.

Residents have been urged to avoid direct exposure to sun as temperatures are set to hit highs of 46 degree Celsius over the next six days.
