Construction has begun on Belgium's Expo 2020 Dubai pavilion.

In a bid to show off its technological prowess, the country's site will take the shape of a green ark that spans several levels.

Around 192 countries have confirmed their participation in the mega event, in addition to multinational companies and educational institutions.

Expo 2020 Dubai will also be the first World Expo to be hosted in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia region and is expected to attract 25 million visits.
