Starting the new year, Dubai residents will no longer receive paper copies of their electricity and water bills.
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) made the announcement, adding that an e-receipt, in the form of an email and text message, will be sent to the user instead.
Paperless bills are part of the agency's ongoing efforts to preserve the environment and commitment to smart transformation.
