Studios and one-bedroom apartments were the most sold residential units in Dubai last year.

That's according to the real estate portal Property Finder's Data Finder, which shows that 41 per cent of the overall 37,788 residential transactions in 2019 were for units under AED 1 million.

The report found that Jumeirah Village Circle (JVC) registered the highest number of sales transactions (1,473) for properties in this price segment.

International City, Meydan and Business Bay were some of the other popular areas.
