Only 45% of organisations worldwide are confident they’re protected from cyber attacks, as hackers become bolder and more sophisticated, according to a Cisco report. Experts say businesses are finding it difficult to detect, mitigate and recover from common and professional online assaults. The report also says aging infrastructure and outdated organisational structure and practices are putting firms at risk. Small and medium businesses are also seen as a potential weak link, with many of them believed to be using fewer threat defense tools.
