At least three Russian airlines have cancelled their operations to the Czech Republic after Prague imposed a flight ban.

According to reports, the Czech Transport Ministry withdrew permits for the flights after Russia limited the right of national carrier Czech Airlines to use routes across Siberia on its flights from Prague to Seoul.

Russian state carrier Aeroflot, budget airline Pobeda and Ural Airlines announced cancellations on Tuesday.

Talks are underway between Russian and Czech aviation authorities and the issue is expected to be resolved quickly.
