Beyonce has released her new single 'Break My Soul' three hours ahead of the scheduled release time.
The first single is from her forthcoming seventh solo studio album Renaissance, which was announced earlier this week.
The track is co-produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream who were part of the team behind the track Single Ladies.
Jay-Z also features in the writing credits along with the writers of Robin S’s 1993 hit Show Me Love, which is sampled in Bey’s new song.
The song initially appeared only on Tidal - the streaming service co-owned by Beyonce’s husband, Jay-Z — three hours before its announced release time of midnight ET, and on YouTube an hour later.
The new single is an upbeat house/dance track, which will surely be a hit this summer.
