Two American comedians have joined the first edition of Abu Dhabi Comedy Week, which will take place at Etihad Arena from May 18 to 26.
Rush Hour movie series star Chris Tucker will be taking the late show at Etihad Arena on May 25.
Tucker, first captured audiences’ hearts in the 1990s with his appearances on the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. Since then, he has starred in numerous hit films including Friday, The Fifth Element, Money Talks, and the much-loved Rush Hour series alongside the iconic Jackie Chan.
Andrew Schulz, a well-known figure on the US comedy circuit, will perform on May 22. He capped off his last North American tour, Infamous, by selling out the 6,000-seat Radio City Music Hall twice in one night. In addition to the 150,000+ fans who came out to the tour, Schulz’s stand up and podcast receives 12 million views across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok per week.
Other names confirmed for the inaugural edition include Aziz Ansari, Bassem Youssef, Maz Jobrani, Tom Segura, Tommy Tiernan, and Kevin Bridges.
The Abu Dhabi Comedy Week will also feature a range of shows hosted by Live Nation Middle East.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 12 pm on March 27. General tickets go on-sale at 12 pm on March 28.
