Elon Musk has made his thoughts clear about the movie Barbie, taking a jab at the summer's blockbuster hit on Twitter.
The billionaire's tweet read, "If you take a shot every time Barbie says the word 'Patriarchy,' you will pass out before the movie ends."
Musk's Twitter comment was in response to a Barbenheimer meme that drew a comparison between Twitter and Barbie, while also mentioning his new X name for his social network in relation to Oppenheimer.
The Tesla CEO is the latest in a string of critics accusing the movie Barbie of being left-wing propaganda. The film, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie, made a splash at the box office, raking in an impressive $162 million domestically during its opening weekend.

Despite the film's commercial success, there have been ongoing debates about its political implications. Mattel executives have sought to distance the movie from being perceived as political or feminist propaganda. Robbie Brenner, the executive producer at Mattel Films, stated that the movie is "not a feminist movie". However, in an interview with Time, Robbie seemed surprised by the claim, expressing that the film is multifaceted and encompasses various themes.
Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro also entered the fray, gaining viral attention after posting a 43-minute critique of the movie on YouTube. The video has garnered over 1.6 million views.
