Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are getting divorced. The 'Extant' actress and her French actor husband - who have two-year-old son Maceo together - are calling time on their two year marriage but still wish "happiness" for one another as they separate "with a heavy heart". They said in a statement: "It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. "We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children's privacy, as we go through this difficult period." Insiders claim the split is due to "personality differences". A source told TMZ: "They're just very, very different people. He's a very macho guy, and things just didn't jive." According to TMZ, Halle - who also has a seven-year-old daughter Nahla, with ex-partner Gabriel Aubry - has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The pair have a pre-nuptial agreement in place and the 49-year-old actress isn't seeking primary or joint custody but what is in "the best interests of the child." It has been claimed the couple's marriage finally broke down last week after they were sued over an incident at LAX airport in January, when the 'Dark Tide' actor allegedly shoved an airport employee to the ground with a baby carseat. Insiders told the website the couple argued to the point where each of them had "had it" with their marriage, but Halle took legal action first.
