The second part of a documentary chronicling Dubai’s journey in combating COVID-19 is set to air on Saturday, May 14.
Titled 'COVID-19: Dubai', the documentary highlights the measures put in place to curb the spread of the virus and limit its impact on the community.
Produced by the Government of Dubai Media Office (GDMO) and Discovery, it features conversations with leaders, frontline heroes and members of the public.
The first part that aired on Discovery on May 7, followed the lives of home-schooled children and their parents during the time, in addition to the highs and lows of the business community as they tackled the crisis.
The documentary's director Phil Griffiths told The Agenda on Dubai Eye 103.8 said that the second part mainly captures the response of hospitals and the wider healthcare sector, and that the entire journey was a humbling experience.
He also explains how the documentary depicts the resilience of Dubai and its unique approach in dealing with the crisis.
