Hollywood star Ryan Gosling will play Ken Doll in Greta Gerwig's live-action Barbie film that's set to release in July of 2023.
The image of Gosling, complete with bleached-blonde hair and washboard abs, which was released by Warner Bros. has since garnered over 80,000 likes.
It has, however, left the internet divided, with some Gosling fans deeply disappointed with his look. "How did they make Ryan Gosling look unattractive for a barbie movie?" pointed out a fan.
Actor Margot Robbie steps in as 'Barbie, with the production house earlier releasing a photo with her in Barbie’s pink convertible.

Production on the film is currently underway, with Gerwig co-writing the script with her partner Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story).
America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Issa Rae and Michael Cera are among the star cast.
While very little is known about the storyline, there are several rumours hinting that the plot will feature several Barbie and Ken characters.
