UK band Her's killed on way to gig

British music band Her's have been killed in a car crash in the United States.

The Liverpool duo, 24-year-old Stephen Fitzpatrick and Audun Laading, 25, died along with their manager Trevor Engelbrektson while on their way to a performance in California.

The indie band released their debut album Invitation To Her's last year and were on a 19-gig tour of the US.

Their music label, Heist Or Hit, said “We are all heartbroken" in a statement posted on Facebook.

“Their energy, vibrancy and talent came to define our label,” it continued.

“As humans, they were warm, gentle and hilarious. Each time they stopped by the office made for an uplifting experience."
