3 arrested for terror links after Maldives stabbing attack

Three men have been arrested in the Maldives in connection with the knife attack on two Chinese nationals and an Australian.

According to reports, the men were attacked on Tuesday night in Hulhumale, an island near the capital Male.

Officials said they are being investigated on their suspected links with the IS terror group, after a Maldivian radical group claimed responsibility for the attack.

The injured are currently undergoing treatment and are said to be in a stable condition.
