Afghani voters are heading to the polls today to choose their new president.
More than nine million people in the country are registered and eligible to vote in the election.
Although a total of 14 candidates are in the running, it's likely to come down to incumbent President Ashraf Ghani and his former deputy Abdullah Abdullah.
Tens of thousands of forces have been deployed across the country to protect voters and polling stations from Taliban attacks.
However explosion were reported earlier this morning near a polling station in the city of Kandahar.
Officials say at least three people were injured by the blast.
