2,281 new COVID-19 cases in UAE

The UAE confirmed 2,281 new cases of COVID-19 from 225,651 tests on Friday.

Another 2,234 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 573,194. 

Three patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,720.

A total of 593,894 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 18,980 are currently active.
