Abu Dhabi announces road closures for UAE Tour Women

Authorities in Abu Dhabi have warned motorists of road closures until 4:30 pm on Saturday as riders from the UAE Tour Women 2026 pass through the capital city.

Temporary closures will be in place from 1:10pm across several parts of Abu Dhabi, as the race passes through Saadiyat Island, Yas Island and Al Marina.

Authorities said each of these roads will be closed for around 10 to 15 minutes, and will reopen once the cyclists have passed through the area.

The race, which starts from Abu Dhabi Teamlab Phenomena, will finish at Abu Dhabi Breakwater.

Saturday's route will cover several areas, including Yas Island, Masdar, Khalifa City, Mussaffah Bridge, Zayed Sport City, Al Reem Island, Al Maryah Island, Qasr al Hosn, and Al Bateen.

On Sunday, the final 156km route will be from Al Ain Hazza bin Zayed Stadium to Jebel Hafeet.
