Driver arrested for performing stunts in front of police patrol

RAK Police

A 20-year-old driver has been arrested and his SUV impounded after he performed dangerous stunts in front of the Ras Al Khaimah police patrol in the Emirate's southern region.

A senior officer said the force zeroed in on the suspect after a video of his reckless act and disregard for traffic rules went viral online.

The case has been forwarded to the Public Prosecution for further action.

The officer added that they would not shy away from carrying out strict action against those who blatantly disrespect the police force.
