His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's Crown Prince and the UAE's Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, on Sunday announced the second edition of 'Dubai Mallathon' that transforms malls into fitness hubs.
It will run from June 15 to September 15 across Dubai malls.
In a post on social media, Sheikh Hamdan said malls will "open daily for walking, running, and a range of sports activities".
It will be open to " residents and visitors", with the aim "to encourage a healthier, more active lifestyle by making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone".
"Together, we can make movement a daily habit and wellbeing a shared goal," Sheikh Hamdan added.
Today, we directed the launch of the second edition of the Dubai Mallathon, the first initiative of its kind globally to transform Dubai’s shopping malls into vibrant sports and community destinations throughout the summer.
