His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, met on Tuesday with Sebastian Bazin, Chairman and CEO of Accor Group, one of the world’s leading companies in the hospitality and hotel management sector.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hamdan affirmed that Dubai continues to consolidate its position as one of the most important global tourist destinations and the most attractive markets for global investment, thanks to its proactive vision, its approach based on flexibility and long-term strategic planning, and its growing partnership with major international institutions operating in the field of tourism and hospitality services.
The importance of strengthening partnerships and integration between the public and private sectors, including the hospitality and tourism sectors, as they are among the main pillars of Dubai’s economic growth and global competitiveness, was a key topic.
Sheikh Hamdan stressed Dubai’s keenness to provide a stable and stimulating business environment that enables global companies to expand and prosper, under an integrated system of advanced infrastructure and flexible legislation that takes into account the interests of investors.
As well, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his appreciation to all the work teams in the various Accor facilities in Dubai, praising the high-quality services they provide that enhance the visitor experience and consolidate the emirate’s position as a leading global tourist destination.
Sebastian Bazin expressed his confidence in the market prospects in Dubai, stressing the group’s continued strategic expansion in the Emirate, and noting that his visit to Dubai, at a time when the region is experiencing exceptional circumstances, reflects the extent to which Dubai is able to deal with regional and international challenges with high efficiency, through precautionary planning and institutional flexibility.
