His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and the Ruler of Dubai will meet with a group of young humanitarians at a ceremony on February 23, as part of the Arab Hope Makers initiative.
Over 26,000 youngsters have submitted entries for the fifth edition of the programme, which brings together people who have made impactful differences to their communities.
Sheikh Mohammed said on platform X: "That the industry of hope is the industry of life… Hope is the bridge that connects the reality we live in and the future we desire. We must contribute to building bridges for millions of young people so that they are not overcome by despair and hopelessness. Because belief in hope is belief in life itself.

"We will meet a group of them at the Hope Makers ceremony on February 23, God willing."
Launched under the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) the initiative is the biggest of its kind in the region and aims to reward and celebrate those making notable change through social, humanitarian and charitable work.
