His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has visited the 33rd edition of Arabian Travel Market at Dubai World Trade Centre, where he reviewed the latest developments shaping the future of global travel and tourism.
The event, which runs until September 17, brings together tourism organisations, airlines, hotels, travel companies and industry leaders.
During his tour, Sheikh Mohammed visited several national and international pavilions and met exhibitors showcasing new services, technologies and solutions across the sector.
He was briefed on this year’s event and its role in bringing industry leaders together to build partnerships, exchange expertise and explore new opportunities for growth.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted Dubai’s position as a global hub for travel and tourism, saying innovation, strong partnerships and exceptional visitor experiences are key to the sector’s future.
He also praised the strong international participation at the event, saying it reflects growing confidence in Dubai’s ability to drive innovation and development in global tourism.
This year’s Arabian Travel Market is being held under the theme ‘Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology’.
Key areas of focus include artificial intelligence, digital transformation, sustainable tourism, smart mobility and changing traveller expectations.
The event also features discussions with tourism leaders, policymakers and technology experts on the trends and opportunities shaping the future of travel.
