The India Pavilion hosted a musical evening to celebrate Navratri, the nine-day Hindu festival, to visitors at Expo 2020 Dubai.
As part of the celebrations, classically trained singer Sudhanshu Raj, a winner of popular Indian musical reality show Sa Re Ga Ma, played at the pavilion’s amphitheatre, alongside co-performer Sweety.
Gunveena Chadha, Director, India Pavilion, said they wanted to share the spirit of the festivities, held to commemorate the victory of good over evil.
“This is a festival in India and we are also celebrating it here to showcase our culture to the visitors,” Chadha said.
