Team Kazakhstan B has topped the rankings on the fourth day of the UAE SWAT Challenge, securing first place for the Tower Assault Event at the Training City in Al Ruwayyah on Wednesday.
The team earned the highest score with 109 points after completing the challenge in an original time of 00:02:24.862 with no penalties.
China Police Team B claimed second place, finishing in 00:02:25.792 with zero penalty time, while Kazakhstan C won third after recording a total time of 00:02:27.684 without penalties as well.
The fourth day event required five team members, including three assaulters and two snipers, to move together through a complex course that involved climbing and rappelling down a tower, all whilst carrying all their equipment.
Speed, accuracy, coordination, and endurance skills are tested during the challenge, while simulating real-world operational pressure.
The teams were awarded by Major General Dr. Ahmad Zaal bin Krishan Almuhairi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Financial and Administrative Sector at Dubai Police, who honoured the winning teams in the presence of Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs, and Abdullah Alblooshi, representative of the Arabian Radio Network ARN.
The UAE SWAT Challenge will conclude on Wednesday with its final event - Obstacle Course.
