UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has held talks with his counterpart from Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi.
Embaló is in the UAE on a working visit.
During the meeting, the leaders explored various opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the UAE and Guinea-Bissau in fields including economy, trade and development sectors to support the priorities and aspirations of both countries towards further progress and prosperity.
The two sides affirmed their shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation to benefit the people of both nations, with exchanging views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The leaders previously met last April and discussed the growing ties between their countries in opening new horizons for development.
