Russian President Vladimir Putin has commended UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his strong commitment to advancing artificial intelligence.
Speaking at the AI Journey international conference in Moscow, Putin highlighted the UAE's significant achievements in AI development, noting the great importance Sheikh Mohamed places on AI.
He hailed the UAE’s remarkable accomplishments in the field and its rise in global rankings last year.
Putin emphasised that AI is a key resource in achieving national development goals, including strengthening defence capabilities, boosting the economy and social sectors, improving public administration, and driving innovation.
The Russian leader also noted that AI technologies have transformed industries over the past year, marking the start of a revolution in engineering, as well as the design and construction of fundamentally new components and devices.
