Rashid Hospital has been ranked among the top-10 healthcare facilities in the Middle East, Europe and North Africa in providing specialised orthopaedic and trauma surgery services.
That's according to a report by Johnson and Johnson, which says the Dubai hospital received this recognition for the 6,000 successful bone and fracture surgeries performed annually as well as for its overall quality of services.
The honour has resulted in international accreditation of the hospital's Orthopaedic and Trauma Department as an approved training centre for doctors globally.
The department is one of the biggest of its kind in the UAE and is home to 50 specialists and consultants.
