The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) have confirmed that they're testing a new robotic cleaner at Union Metro station.
They say if the trial is successful, the technology will be deployed at other stations.
The robots are equipped with sensors to detect barriers and avoid collisions.
It's part of the RTA efforts to use more artificial intelligence (A.I.) elements in its day-to-day operations.
The trial is also part of the UAE's A.I. strategy, which was announced in 2017.
