SEHA, the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company, says that the Sinopharm vaccine offers immunity for up to nine months and one booster shot of Pfizer is enough.
This was in response to a Twitter user’s question to SEHA about how long she needs to wait before taking the Pfizer booster and whether she needed to take two injections, since she had originally taken the Sinopharm vaccine.
SEHA clarified that one shot of the Pfizer vaccine is considered a booster, and confirmed that residents who've taken Sinopharm should visit a vaccination centre to receive the complimentary jab.
