Slight tremors were felt in the UAE after a 5.8 magnitude earthquake struck southern Iran on Wednesday evening.
The National Centre of Meteorology said the earthquake was reported at 07:17 pm UAE time.
It added that the impact of the quake was slightly felt in the northern parts of the UAE, without any adverse effects.
