WAM

Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar has expressed the UAE’s deep concern over the continued escalation and its repercussions on regional security and stability.

The Minister led a UAE delegation to an open-ended extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation on Thursday, where he emphasised the importance of dialogue, adherence to international law, and respect for sovereignty in resolving crises.

The Minister highlighted the UAE’s unwavering position in rejecting all forms of violence and political assassination.

He highlighted that actions contrary to international laws increase instability risks.

Al Marar also called for resolving disputes through diplomatic means rather than confrontation and escalation.

The meeting took place at the headquarters of the OIC in Jeddah at the request of Palestine and Iran.
