UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has wished students and teachers a successful start to the academic year, as the new school year begins.
In a post on X, His Highness said: "I extend my best wishes for a successful academic year to all students, teachers and parents. Together, you continue to ensure that educational excellence is an investment in our nation's future and a foundation for developing lifelong learners in and out of school."
أبارك لأبنائي الطلبة والمعلمين وأولياء الأمور، العام الدراسي الجديد، وأتمنى أن يكون عاماً موفقاً وناجحاً. وأؤكد أهمية الدور التربوي للمدرسة إلى جانب دورها التعليمي. التعاون بين الجميع يضمن مخرجات تعليمية تخدم رؤيتنا التنموية التي تعتبر التعليم والتعلم المستمر أساس التقدم.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, also posted a message on the social media site to wish pupils good luck for the new school year.
