President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has affirmed the UAE's solidarity with Kuwait and Qatar during phone calls with the two countries' leaders on Saturday.
In a call with Kuwait's Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, both leaders enquired about the situation in the two nations, with the Kuwaiti Emir also expressing his solidarity with the UAE in defending its nation's security and stability.
Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani also shared his support during discussions on the escalating military situation with the UAE president.
All sides also condemned the Iranian attacks targeting the territories of the two countries and other states, stressing that they constitute a violation of state sovereignty, international law, and the UN Charter.
They called for an immediate halt to the escalation and a return to dialogue and diplomatic solutions to prevent any further deterioration of regional security.
