UAE President and Turkish Foreign Minister discuss situation in Gaza

The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.

They discussed efforts to enhance the humanitarian response for civilians affected by the crisis in the Gaza Strip, as well as efforts to promote de-escalation.

The two sides emphasised the importance of supporting aid organisations and ensuring the unobstructed delivery of relief and medical assistance.

The discussions addressed the need for the international community to assume responsibility towards achieving a "just, comprehensive and stable peace in the Middle East".

During their meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Fidan also reviewed UAE-Turkish ties.
