UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in the French city of Évian-les-Bains to attend the G7 Summit, following the invitation of French leader Emmanuel Macron.
The 52nd G7 Summit will take place between June 15 and June 17.
He is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising of a number of ministers and senior officials.
The UAE’s invitation to participate in the summit reflects the global recognition accorded to the country and its role in promoting international cooperation and addressing shared challenges.
Several other non-G7 countries have also been invited as guests, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
