President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a written letter to Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, President of Mexico, with an invitation to the COP28 climate conference.
The letter was delivered to Alicia Barcena, Mexican Secretary of Foreign Affairs, by Ahmed Hatem Almenhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico.
The Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - more commonly referred to as COP28 - will be in its 28th edition. It will be held in Expo City Dubai from November 30 until December 12.
