UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who visited the UAE as part of a wider Middle East tour.

The talks focused on the UAE-US strategic partnership, with both sides discussing ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination across a range of sectors.

They also reviewed regional and international developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Rubio stressed the importance of supporting security, stability and lasting peace across the region.
