The UAE's President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday visited Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at his residence in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments in the region, including the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
They emphasised the need to pursue a path of peace to achieve stability and progress for the people of the region.
The meeting also focused on the deep-rooted ties binding the UAE and Bahrain, with both sides stressing their commitment to strengthen ties in various fields.
