The UAE Aid Agency has announced urgent humanitarian assistance for people affected by severe flooding in Bangladesh following heavy monsoon rains.
The emergency supplies are being delivered in coordination with Bangladeshi authorities to meet the most urgent needs of affected families, particularly in the hardest-hit areas.
Dr. Tareq Ahmed Al Ameri, Chairman of the UAE Aid Agency, said the response reflects the UAE's commitment to supporting countries during times of crisis, easing the suffering of those affected, and helping speed up recovery efforts.
The latest initiative reinforces the UAE's role as one of the world's leading international donors, working closely with global organisations and local authorities to respond quickly to natural disasters and humanitarian emergencies.
