The UK will start accepting UAE vaccination certificates from October 4.
That's according to Grant Shapps, the Secretary of State for Transport, who tweeted that the decision follows updates to the vaccination app.
🚨 | NEW ✈️We will be accepting UAE vaccination certificates from 4th Oct following updates to their vaccination app 🇦🇪. As a major transport hub which is home to many British expats, this is great news for reopening international travel, boosting business & reuniting families 🏡

This will allow travellers who have taken a UK-approved vaccine from the UAE to travel to the UK without the mandatory quarantine.
