The UAE has welcomed the United States’ decision to remove Syria from its list of State Sponsors of Terrorism.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the move as a positive step towards supporting Syria’s stability, prosperity and economic recovery.
The Ministry also welcomed efforts by US President Donald Trump, saying the decision could help attract investment, revive Syria’s economy, and strengthen its integration into the global economy.
The UAE reaffirmed its support for efforts to help the Syrian people achieve security, stability, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable development.
