The 2025 Asia Cup cricket tournament kicks off in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, with Afghanistan taking on Hong Kong in their Group B clash at 6:30 pm.
The continental event is being played in the T20 format, featuring eight teams — including the UAE, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Oman.
The teams are split into two groups, with the top two from each group moving on to the Super Fours stage. From there, the top two teams will qualify for the final.
Matches will be held at Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Stadium and the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
