A former anti-doping chief at world athletics is the latest person to be placed under criminal investigation. Doctor Gabriel Dolle is being accused of alleged involvement in a cover-up of positive Russian doping tests. The former head of world athletics was also placed under formal investigation on Wednesday. Lamine Diack is being targeted on suspicion of corruption and money laundering following a complaint from the World Anti-Doping Agency.
