Australia go top after beating Sri Lanka

Australia are on top of the World Cup points table after beating Sri Lanka by 87 runs at The Oval.

Batting first, the Aussies amassed 334 for 7 with skipper Aaron Finch smashing 153.

They then bowled out Sri Lanka for 247 as fast bowler Mitchell Starc took four wickets.

Saturday's second match saw South Africa record their first win of the tournament. They beat Afghanistan by nine wickets at Cardiff.
