Australia are in the driver's seat going into the final day of the opening Ashes Test in Birmingham.

Steven Smith notched up his second century (142) of the match to set the hosts a fourth-innings target of 398.

England ended the day on 13 for no loss, meaning they need an improbable 385 runs to win on day five.

Play from Edgbaston gets underway at 2:00 pm UAE time.
