Australian NRL appoints new CEO

Todd Greenberg appointed NRL CEO

The Australian National Rubgy League (NRL) has announced its new CEO, Todd Greenberg. At a press conference today, the league welcomed Greenberg, who has been the NRL’s head of football since 2013. It has been five months since previous CEO, Dave Smith stepped down – and the previous Canterbury Bulldogs CEO has vowed to conclude the Parramatta Eels salary cap scandal. The scandal broke last week, in which the Parramatta Eels club was found to have broken league regulations about player salary-caps, payments and benefits. Investigations are ongoing.
