Australian Open: Venus Williams crashes out, Andy Murray advances

Seven-time Grand Slam Champion Venus Williams is out of the Australian Open. The 8th seeded American has been knocked out by British number one Johanna Konta in the first round in Melbourne.The 24-year-old raced to a 6-4, 6-2 victory in 79 minutes. In the men’s competition, second seed Andy Murray has eased into the second round, beating German teenager Alexander Zverev 6-1, 6-2, 6-3.
