The 8th seeded American has been knocked out by British number one Johanna Konta in the first round in Melbourne.The 24-year-old raced to a 6-4, 6-2 victory in 79 minutes. In the men’s competition, second seed Andy Murray has eased into the second round, beating German teenager Alexander Zverev 6-1, 6-2, 6-3.
