Bangladesh gets first T20I win over India

Bangladesh have registered their first-ever Twenty20 International victory against India.

They won the first game of the three-match series by seven wickets in Delhi.

Mushfiqur Rahim scored an unbeaten half-century (60 off 43 balls) to help his side reach their victory target of 149 runs with three balls remaining.

After winning the toss, Bangladesh opted to bowl first and restricted India to 148-6 in 20 overs.

Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 41 runs, while Shafiul Islam and Aminul Islam took two wickets each for the visitors.

The second game of the series will be played in Rajkot on Thursday.
