Brazil through to last 16 of Women's World Cup

Brazil have booked their place in the last 16 of the Women's World Cup.

They beat Italy 1-0 to top Group C on goal difference.

Six-time world player of the year Marta scored a record 17th World Cup finals goal to give Brazil the win.

Elsewhere, Sam Kerr scored all four goals for Australia as they easily beat Jamaica.

The 4-1 victory sends the Aussies to the knockout stages of the tournament.

Kerr's goal bust also makes her the World Cup's joint-top scorer with five goals.
